Course Description:
This course is primarily designed to develop substantial mathematical skills and methods. Students will be exposed to the concepts and theories of elementary mathematics related to mathematical knowledge applied in the diverse fields as well as to practical applications for pastoral fields. The course will prepare students to use algebraic methods as a problem-solving tool and will help them to develop sound understanding of descriptive and inferential statistics which they can use to describe and analyze a given set of date such as the church’s financial statement. Two-thirds of the course will focus on algebra, and the rest will cover practical applications through the case-study of the church’s financial management.
